Tax and Financial Analyst
Kate is a long-time resident of Apple Valley, Minnesota where she and her husband raised their three children and has been an active volunteer in her community. She loves spending time with her darling grandchildren (pictured above) as often as she can!
Kate’s experience includes work in many aspects of fiduciary tax and individual income tax as well as estate and gift tax preparation for high-net-worth clients. She has worked closely with estate administrators, accountants, and the legal community to ensure accurate and thorough reporting. Researching complex tax issues and keeping current with federal and state tax laws and IRS regulations have been an integral part of her work.
Kate graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and returned to St. Thomas to continue her studies earning a master’s degree in Education (Med). She has also completed the Cannon Financial Institute Trust Tax School course.
Kate has held various professional positions during her career outside of tax preparation including work as a software engineer, a quality control engineer, and a high school mathematics teacher.
